We require availability as of 1 October 2026. We require a good command of English as a working language. We require hands-on experience with the Python programming language. Responsibilities: We will have you help our Control Software group integrate hardware into the facilitys control system, Karabo, and implement procedures therein. We will have you collaboratively develop plugins for the control system, so-called devices, that implement specific functionality or interface to hardware. We will have you write and execute tests for the software. We will have you design and implement user interfaces. We will have you participate in commissioning of the software. We will have you engage in code review within the group. Technologies: Hardware Support Python More: We are European XFEL, an international non-profit company located in the Hamburg area in Germany.
