Outsystems Developer

Our client is a Singapore public sector agency seeking an experienced Low Code Engineer to develop, maintain and operate secure, reliable digital applications using the OutSystems platform. Location: Novena Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable OutSystems applications and integrations using APIs, SFTP and other integration technologies. Translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions, contributing to application architecture, technical design and code reviews. Manage OutSystems environments across development, testing and production, including deployments, upgrades, migrations and environment configuration. Troubleshoot application, workflow, timer, integration, database and platform issues; support production incidents, conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. Build, maintain and troubleshoot applications hosted on AWS/GCC infrastructure, including IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server and related networking components. Improve engineering practices through CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, observability and operational automation. Uphold security, compliance, backup, patching and disaster recovery standards while promoting maintainable code, documentation and platform governance. Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to balance technical quality, business priorities and operational requirements. Explore and implement AI capabilities or integrations where appropriate. Requirements At least 4 years of experience developing and maintaining applications using OutSystems, with a strong understanding of its architecture, LifeTime, Service Center and deployment processes. At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with sound knowledge of application architecture, design principles and full-stack development. Working knowledge of C# and .NET, including backend services and API development. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, with experience in frontend frameworks such as React or Vue. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including data modelling, complex queries, performance optimisation and production troubleshooting. Experience with REST, SOAP or other API integration technologies. Experience supporting applications on AWS, GCC or equivalent cloud platforms, with knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, networking, high availability and disaster recovery. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, production incident management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
