Salary: $92000 - 225000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, computer science, or a closely related technical discipline. We require at least three years of relevant experience in modeling and simulation, operations analysis, or similar analytical work. We require hands-on experience using simulation tools to assess complex systems or operational situations. We require familiarity with one or more modeling and simulation environments such as AFSIM, STK, NGTS, STORM, or comparable platforms. We require strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially when converting real-world challenges into structured assessments. We require the ability to communicate technical conclusions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. We require basic scripting or programming experience, such as Python, to support analysis workflows. We strongly prefer experience connecting model-based systems engineering tools with modeling and simulation environments. We strongly prefer background supporting DoD or intelligence community analytical efforts, or working in wargaming settings. We strongly prefer familiarity with scenario development, force modeling, and campaign-level analysis. We strongly prefer experience collaborating within multidisciplinary analytical teams. We strongly prefer experience briefing analytical findings to senior leaders and decision-makers. Responsibilities: We develop, configure, and run simulation-based analyses using AFSIM and related tools. We convert real-world operational questions into simulation scenarios and interpret the outcomes to produce actionable insights.
