Mid-Level Developer

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements: At least 3 years of professional web application software development experience. Hands-on Drupal development experience, including site building and custom module or theme work, or equivalent CMS expertise with willingness to specialize. Experience with PHP and/or C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Knowledge of SQL fundamentals and relational data modeling. REST API development and integration experience. Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD. Awareness of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility practices. Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team. Willingness to contribute to automated testing; experience with JavaScript/TypeScript testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalents is preferred. Exposure to Drupal and MySQL on container platforms, REST APIs, GitLab CI/CD, and federal accessibility and security practices. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience or a bootcamp education with a demonstrable portfolio is also considered. Preferred: Drupal Webform module experience. Preferred: AWS or container/Kubernetes exposure. Preferred: Experience on government or regulated-industry projects. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Responsibilities: Implement assigned features, components, and defect fixes across the front end and services layer. Build and configure CMS content types, forms, views, and custom modules to specification. Develop and consume REST APIs, including request and response handling, validation, and error paths. Write unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews as both an author and reviewer. Address accessibility and security findings in assigned components. Support CI/CD pipeline execution, troubleshoot builds, and verify deployments. Document technical work and contribute to knowledge base materials and runbooks. Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide accurate estimates and status updates. Develop Drupal 10+ and MySQL components for deployment on PACE or comparable container platforms, following established architecture and coding standards. Create and maintain unit, integration, and automated UI/API tests, including Cypress tests where assigned, and support CI/CD quality gates and release evidence. Implement Section 508, responsive design, browser compatibility, security, audit logging, and data validation requirements within assigned features.
