Mid Automation Tester [FULL ONSITE]

About the role The Test Automation Engineer's role is responsible for identifying test automation opportunities within the organization, responsible for designing, testing and deploying, managing test automation solutions that optimizes the use of test resources (tools and people). Key responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright and Appium to support web, mobile, API, and end-to-end testing. Ensure compliance with established testing standards, quality frameworks, SDLC processes, and automation engineering best practices. Participate in requirements reviews, solution design discussions, and test planning activities to identify automation opportunities and maximize test coverage. Develop, manage, and maintain automation test data, reusable components, object repositories, and test assets. Execute automated test suites for functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing; analyze results and investigate test failures. Leverage BrowserStack to perform cross-browser, cross-device, and mobile application testing across multiple operating systems, browsers, and device configurations. Utilize GitHub Enterprise for source control, code reviews, branch management, versioning, and collaboration across automation initiatives. Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve automation productivity, code quality, script maintainability, and development efficiency. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices to enable faster, more reliable software releases. Monitor, track, and communicate automation development progress, test execution results, coverage metrics, quality trends, and defects to project stakeholders. About you Bachelor's degree relevant to the job Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing. Hands-on experience with Appium for iOS and Android mobile automation testing. Knowledge of BrowserStack for cross-browser, cross-device, and mobile testing. Experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve automation efficiency. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices. Experience in functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test automation. Proficiency in automation scripting using TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
