Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Introduction & Summary We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with over 7 years in the field to lead the design and development of a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure . The successful candidate will play a critical role in integrating data from various enterprise systems such as SAP BW, SAP HANA, Labware, ELN, Salesforce , ensuring a unified data ecosystem crucial for cross-functional analytics and AI-driven insights. Main Responsibilities Design and implement automated data pipelines integrating multiple enterprise systems. Develop efficient data models across diverse business domains. Implement strong data governance frameworks. Deliver clean and enriched datasets for BI and AI/ML consumption. Prepare technical documentation and guide knowledge transfer sessions. Key Requirements Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric) Python SQL Azure Functions Apache Kafka Docker Containers Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational) Multi-Source Data Integration (SAP BW, SAP HANA, etc.) Event-Driven Architecture and Real-Time Data Processing Data Governance and Security CI/CD and GitHub Nice to Have Familiarity with SAP DataSphere and SAP ERP data structures. Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and performance tuning. Other Details This position offers a hybrid working mode (3 days per week in office) and is based in Koregaon Park, Pune. The role is timezone-aligned with CET and calls for a proactive approach to enable real-time analytics and trusted data solutions across various business domains.
