Manager, Development Operations (DevOps)

Salary: $90,000 - 168,750 per year Requirements: At least 3 years of experience managing and developing engineering teams. At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud architecture, site reliability engineering, or a related field. Hands-on expertise with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, RDS, and Lambda. Proven experience operating production-grade Kubernetes environments at scale. Strong scripting skills, such as Bash or Python, and experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible. Solid understanding of networking, security practices, containerization, and cloud automation. Responsibilities: Lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, resilient cloud-native infrastructure, primarily using AWS or GCP. Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters for high-volume workloads, targeting 99.999% reliability. Set DevOps strategy, standards, and best practices across teams, advancing automation, performance, and operational maturity. Build and improve end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, security validation, and reliable deployments. Establish and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks using Terraform or CloudFormation. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch. Lead operational reviews, incident analysis, and resilience planning for mission-critical services. Manage and mentor DevOps engineers, fostering innovation, ownership, and technical excellence. Partner with software engineering, architecture, and product teams to embed DevOps best practices throughout the SDLC.
