Mainframe Architect - Legacy Modernization Employment Type Full-time About this Job The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical support for COBOL85, JCL, Assembler, RDB, NDB, TreeDB, Symfoware, and other related technologies for mainframe to open environment migration projects. Specifically, this will include the following tasks: Comprehensive evaluation of the current mainframe environment, including COBOL85 and JCL Develop procedures for migrating mainframe applications to an open environment. Provide technical support to the development team by identifying and addressing technical issues and providing solutions. Establish standards for TOBE system performance, security, usability, etc. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for projects, such as architectural design documents.
