Linux Engineer

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in technical leadership or supervision. At least 3 years of experience deploying computer system applications in client/server network environments at a large organization. At least 4 years of experience with network telecommunications, UNIX/Linux operating systems, and TCP/IP, including IPv4 and IPv6. At least 4 years of experience administering network management protocols and related standard tools. At least 4 years of experience supporting telecommunications, local area networks, computer security, and established security practices. At least 4 years of experience evaluating networks, identifying deficiencies, and recommending performance improvements. At least 4 years of experience administering DNS, DNSSEC, and IronPort public-facing technologies. At least 4 years of experience administering, operating, maintaining, and securing large-scale computer networks in a large organization. At least 4 years of experience troubleshooting network problems and developing solutions. Responsibilities: Deploy and support computer system applications in client/server network environments. Administer and support UNIX/Linux operating systems and TCP/IP networking, including IPv4 and IPv6. Manage network protocols and associated standard tools. Support telecommunications, local area networks, computer security, and established security practices. Assess existing networks, identify shortcomings, and recommend performance improvements. Administer DNS, DNSSEC, and IronPort public-facing technologies. Operate, maintain, and secure large-scale enterprise computer networks. Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions. Provide technical leadership or supervision to support successful infrastructure operations.
