Lead Systems Engineer

Salary: $136,850 - 185,150 per year Requirements: We require a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. We require 7+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. We require 3+ years of experience working in MSOSA (Magic Systems of Systems Architecture). We require experience in systems engineering, including system architecture, requirements and interface development and allocation, and verification and validation. We prefer breadth of experience across technical domains and lifecycle phases. We prefer experience working on proprietary programs. We prefer experience with Mission Systems architectures and Open Mission Systems (OMS) and/or Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI). We prefer experience with military aircraft. We require an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, with U.S. citizenship required. We require the ability to obtain Special Program Access. We require U.S. export control compliance eligibility as a U.S. Person. We do not sponsor employment visa status. Responsibilities: We lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing the Weapon System Segment architecture to support program commitments, including model-based design reviews. We lead the team in defining and maintaining segment requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification requirements. We apply systems engineering and MBSE expertise to define, implement, and sustain the MBSE approach aligned to customer digital engineering needs. We integrate the segment with other Weapon System segments. We deliver the integrated segment architecture model. We use interdisciplinary, collaborative methods to plan, design, develop, and verify complex system solutions. We establish, maintain, and demonstrate traceability between tools within the Digital Engineering Environment. We guide the team in implementing open architecture standards. We collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to define and develop the product system architecture from early design through verification. We refine and implement systems modeling best practices in coordination with the Lead Model Architect. We support the development and implementation of open architecture standards.
