Junior Software Engineer

Salary: $66,500 - 94,500 per year Requirements: U.S. citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level U.S. Department of Defense security clearance; an active DoD clearance is preferred. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, such as Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with demonstrated programming experience. Two years of related experience, or a masters degree with one year of experience; relevant co-op or internship experience may count. Familiarity with automated testing, test-result analysis, containerized deployments, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and Agile development. Understanding of software architecture and experience with source code control systems, particularly Git. Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Preferred experience includes Python, Kubernetes, CONAN, CMAKE, development containers, containerized environments, autonomy and control systems, modeling and simulation frameworks, UDP and TCP/IP communications, and MBSE. Responsibilities: Work with containerized autonomy services. Design software test fixtures and develop interface control documents. Apply software testing best practices. Develop and execute integration test plans and test cases. Document test results for government and contractor stakeholders.
