Junior Data Analyst/Developer

Salary: $94000 - 120000 per year Requirements: Active Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one Ability to work in classified and unclassified environments, including NIPRNet systems Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interaction with military and civilian personnel Openness to travel up to 10% for in-person training and operational support Proven aptitude for learning new tools, workflows, and operational contexts Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse Army and contractor teams Bachelors degree (or progress toward degree) in a technical, analytical, or quantitative field 0-2 years of relevant experience (including internships, labs, or academic projects) Basic knowledge of Python or SQL Understanding of fundamental data analysis and visualization principles Strong attention to detail and documentation capabilities Experience with analytics platforms, dashboards, or scripting tools (preferred) Coursework in statistics, data science, or operations research (preferred) Interest in operational analytics and decision support (preferred) Previous military or government experience (preferred) Responsibilities: Assist with configuring, updating, and reusing dashboards Support the creation of training materials and important documentation Help with data validation, quality assurance, and sustaining artifacts Aid in analytics handoff and efforts for institutional adoption Gradually develop Army Vantage skills throughout the performance period Assist in setting up training environments, datasets, and exemplar dashboards Support logistics and execution of in-person and virtual training sessions Contribute to the development and updating of training documents, job aids, and reference resources Support instructors during training activities (e.g., troubleshooting, student assistance, setup, and cleanup) Conduct data validation and quality checks on training datasets and dashboards Gather training feedback and aid in documenting lessons learned and after-action review inputs Aid in the reuse and sustainment of training materials and analytics products Progressively take on limited instructional responsibilities, such as walkthroughs or demonstrations, as skills evolve.
