Java/GCP Developer

Salary: $70,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements: Hands-on Java software development experience. Experience developing and hosting Java and Python solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ability to design and implement scalable CCaaS and IVA solutions using cloud and enterprise conversational AI or customer-service technologies, including conversational IVR, NLU/NLP modeling, intent and flow orchestration, webhook integrations, and speech-to-text/text-to-speech. Ability to architect secure, resilient cloud infrastructure using services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Apigee, and BigQuery, with IAM, VPC design, encryption, multi-region high availability, and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code. Understanding of cloud security architecture, encryption, and OAuth. Collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and ability to work across functions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to contribute across the software development lifecycle, translate complex requirements into development tasks, and support software integration. Passion for software design and hands-on coding, with a proactive approach to testing and troubleshooting. Banking domain knowledge is preferred. We are unable to provide sponsorship now or in the future. Responsibilities: Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation, following provided guidance. Facilitate software design discussions and record decisions to guide technical teams in building solutions. Participate in coding and integrate features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability. Review code, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories. Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality. Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks to help users transition to new applications. Help resolve production issues and recommend preventive measures to improve system reliability. Maintain records of code, testing methods, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base and support similar projects.
