Java Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and Cassandra to build scalable, high-performance backend applications and distributed systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot . Build scalable and resilient Microservices and RESTful APIs . Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka . Design and optimize data storage and retrieval using Cassandra NoSQL database . Develop efficient data processing and messaging solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability. Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Required Skills 10+ years of experience in Java backend development. Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices . Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Cassandra . Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance tuning. Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of multithreading, design patterns, and secure coding practices. Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Good to Have Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms. Experience with monitoring tools and production support. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
