About the role

Provide Tier 2 IT support for Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint management in an MSP environment.

Salary: $61000 - 83000 per year Requirements: We need at least 2 years of experience in an MSP or Tier 2 helpdesk setting. We require advanced administration experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Security & Compliance features. We need practical networking troubleshooting and configuration skills across DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and network equipment such as Cisco, SonicWall, Ubiquiti UniFi, Meraki, or Palo Alto. We require hands-on experience supporting and resolving issues on Windows and macOS endpoints. We need experience setting up and maintaining email authentication and protection records such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. We require solid hardware and software support experience for PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, installs, patching, and driver maintenance. We need experience using at least one ticketing or ITSM platform. We require experience in a client-facing IT support role with direct communication with business customers. We require authorization to work in the United States. We require availability for after-hours or on-call support when needed. We prefer experience contributing to IT initiatives such as hardware deployments, network rollouts, software migrations, and cloud implementations. We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline. We prefer experience supporting iOS and Android devices. We prefer experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot for endpoint management and device provisioning. We prefer foundational Azure administration knowledge, including Azure AD, virtual machines, networking, and resource oversight. We prefer basic to intermediate PowerShell scripting and automation skills. We prefer experience training end users or clients on IT tools and security best practices. We prefer at least one relevant certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft credentials like MS-100, MS-101, or MS-102. We prefer experience with advanced Microsoft Entra ID features, including Conditional Access policies. We prefer candidates who are willing and able to travel about 15% for client site visits or project work. Responsibilities: We provide Tier 2/3 help desk support for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. We administer Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Security & Compliance tools. We configure and troubleshoot networking elements such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall policies. We manage endpoints through Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. We assist with Azure administration, including Azure AD, virtual machines, networking, and resource management. We set up and maintain email security controls such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. We diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. We handle software installations, patching, and driver updates. We document work, update tickets, and communicate with clients using ITSM tools. We support IT projects such as installations, network builds, migrations, and cloud deployments. We provide occasional after-hours or on-call support. We train clients on IT best practices and security awareness. We proactively detect and fix technical problems to improve client satisfaction.
