Salary: $135,200 - 156,000 per year Requirements: At least 9 years of related experience programming and supporting software applications; alternatively, completion of a technical training program plus at least 6 years of related experience, or a bachelors degree or higher in IT or a related field plus at least 6 years of related experience. Experience or skills relevant to software development, including .NET, C#, Angular, Node, TypeScript, APIs, backend systems, user interfaces, testing, debugging, code review, and application design. Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG, as well as security, scalability, reliability, and data management practices. Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, adaptability, and coaching skills. Responsibilities: Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews; translate business needs into technical solutions, review code, guide development practices, and identify technical debt and modernization opportunities. Develop and enhance Agency Quoting and Vendor Quoting applications, including APIs, business services, and user interface components; troubleshoot production issues and conduct technical research and proofs of concept. Use AI tools such as Copilot, Codex, and Claude in daily work. Contribute to Agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, effort estimates, risk identification, progress tracking, release planning, and production deployments. Uphold quality, security, and performance standards; collaborate on test strategy, investigate defects, resolve root causes, and support production monitoring and service reliability. Partner with Agency Distribution stakeholders, BSAs, product teams, QA, operations, architects, analysts, and development teams to understand needs, advise on solutions, and communicate options, tradeoffs, and project status.
