IT Manager (Application and Database Support Analyst)

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day IT operations, business applications, and system support. Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and database issues. Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, including SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, backup, and recovery. Maintain data integrity, security, and availability across business systems. Support SAP BI , data modeling, reporting, and data extraction requirements. Manage system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, migrations, and implementations. Coordinate system testing, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing. Manage user access, IT security, compliance, and audit requirements. Maintain IT documentation, backup procedures, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP). Manage IT vendors and coordinate with business users and external service providers. Provide technical guidance and support to IT team members and stakeholders. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, application support, database management, or related roles. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including querying, scripting, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Good knowledge of database design, data modeling, and SAP BI . Proven experience in troubleshooting application and database issues. Experience in system implementation, integration, migration, and testing. Knowledge of IT security, access control, backup and recovery, and IT governance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in managing IT vendors or leading IT projects is an advantage.
