Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements: U.S. citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements. High school diploma and 20 years of relevant experience. Active Secret clearance, which must be maintained. IAT Level II certification, such as Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, or Certified Systems Security Professional. Must maintain required cybersecurity certifications in accordance with AFMAN. Desired: Bachelors degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including 5 years in the DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience with the certifications specified in the PWS labor category performance requirements, including 8 years in the DoD. Desired: CISSP or equivalent certification. Experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and cybersecurity compliance. Experience using eMASS for authorization packages, artifact management, and accreditation support. Skills in vulnerability assessment, risk mitigation analysis, STIG/SRG implementation, and configuration management. Experience with security audits, assessments, incident response support, information system security, operational security posture management, and secure system and network design in DoD environments. Ability to develop innovative approaches to complex test problems and maintain strong attention to the quality, adequacy, and completeness of results and conclusions. Ability to execute tasks thoroughly, efficiently, and on time, and to provide clear analysis and recommendations to program test leadership. Responsibilities: Ensure systems and applications meet DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements under the direction of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity programs, policies, procedures, and tools to protect systems, networks, and data. Support RMF authorization and accreditation activities, including configuration, artifact creation, documentation, and compliance reviews. Assist the ISSM with risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and operational information systems, identify security gaps, and recommend mitigations. Conduct security evaluations, audits, and reviews; support system contingency and disaster recovery planning; and promote compliance with cybersecurity policies and training requirements. Contribute to system and network design to incorporate security controls and RMF activities from the outset. Help collect, analyze, and preserve digital evidence related to cybersecurity incidents or policy violations. Maintain the security posture of assigned IT systems, monitor situational awareness, and take steps to improve or restore cybersecurity resilience. Enforce Air Force cybersecurity policies, procedures, configuration guidelines such as STIGs/SRGs, and change management processes. Maintain and audit authorized-user access records and verify clearance, need-to-know, and annual training requirements. Report security incidents and vulnerabilities to the ISSM and support corrective or protective measures. Initiate and track exceptions, deviations, and waivers to cybersecurity requirements as needed.
