Integration/Test Engineer Specialist

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, at least 8 years of related experience. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Ability to identify defects, develop solutions, and mitigate risks. Ability to manage multiple varied system projects at once. Experience testing and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and Unix-based operating systems. Basic understanding of software and hardware interdependencies. Programming experience with Linux shell scripting, PHP, Perl, Java, and HTML. Knowledge and experience with local area network configurations and mission support systems or equivalent ISR platforms. Strong verbal and written communication skills, technical writing ability, and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers. Flexibility to work off-shift or weekends and occasional overtime; some lifting is required. Ability to communicate requirements effectively to developers. Preferred: understanding of software troubleshooting, logical engineering problem-solving skills, and enterprise LAN knowledge. Current or prior CompTIA Security+ certification is highly desired; the employee must obtain and maintain this certification. Responsibilities: Prepare and restore mission-system software loads for JAMMS Lab AC SIL integration and testing, MCTS trainer system integration and testing, and aircraft operational testing and delivery. Coordinate with the supervisor, customer, Project Engineering, and Program Management to determine SIL support needs, delivery schedules, and software matrices. Start up JAMMS Ground System SIL equipment, load released software in sequence, shut down equipment, and reconfigure systems as needed. Track delivery schedules and integration and testing activities; provide technical support, perform GCF activities, and troubleshoot, repair, or replace defective equipment. Help plan periodic SIL upgrades involving new wiring and equipment configurations. Work with management to establish and follow schedules and budgets for assigned work. Provide regular progress updates to management and the customer.
