Functional Developer

We're looking for a Haskell Developer to join a global engineering team building high-performance software used in financial markets. You'll work on a modern pricing and analytics platform, collaborating with experienced engineers on systems that process large volumes of data and support business-critical applications. Responsibilities Develop and enhance features for an internal pricing and analytics platform. Build high-quality software using Haskell and an in-house functional language. Collaborate closely with software engineers, quantitative developers, and business stakeholders. Design and implement reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Work on a variety of projects, including backend services, reporting tools, user-facing applications, and platform components. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in engineering practices. Work across both Linux and Windows environments using modern development tools. Requirements 3–5 years of commercial experience with Haskell (must have). Strong understanding of functional programming principles. Solid computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and computational complexity. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. English proficiency at B2+/C1 level. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with other functional programming languages (considered a plus, but not a substitute for Haskell experience ). Experience with C++. Exposure to financial systems or capital markets.
