Full Stack Software Engineer (Java, Spring Boot)

Salary: $72,000 - 112,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and React.js or Angular. 5+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, architecture, and Agile frameworks. 3+ years of experience with modern relational and non-relational databases. 2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure. Experience developing and deploying API solutions and working with cloud services and platform technologies. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as Tekton, Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Apigee X. Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners, and using Agile tools and practices such as JIRA, backlogs, iterations, and user stories. Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and familiarity with Extreme Programming practices, including pair or mob programming and test-first or test-driven development. Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD). Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright, and backend frameworks such as JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers, and Spring Boot Test. Proficiency with code-quality tools such as SonarQube, ESLint, Prettier, and Checkstyle. Understanding of Clean Code principles and design patterns, including SOLID and DDD, as well as refactoring techniques and legacy code improvement. Strong communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to the audience. Ability to collaborate, navigate complex decisions in a rapidly changing environment, and work effectively with diverse, global teams. Responsibilities: Design and develop web services, webpages, APIs, and microservices. Collaborate with product teams on integrations, testing, and deployments. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications. Apply software engineering best practices and maintain high software quality. Work across product teams to reduce complexity, improve interoperability, and support key design decisions. Use an iterative, Agile, user-centric approach and communicate clearly with teammates and internal and external stakeholders. Participate in coding, pair programming, and code and architecture reviews. Collaborate with technical specialists, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, engineers, product owners, and business partners. Support technical decision-making and help resolve technical concerns. Develop and deploy API solutions and work with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and pipelines. Apply Test-Driven Development methodologies and Clean Code principles and design patterns, including SOLID and DDD. Refactor code and contribute to improving legacy systems. Use appropriate frontend and backend testing and code-quality tools.
