Frontend Apprentice

Job Description This apprenticeship program provides hands-on training in front-end web development, focusing on modern UI development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, and CMS platforms such as CoreMedia. The apprentice will support the development team in building and maintaining UI components, integrating CMS content and APIs, following development best practices, and assisting in testing and documentation. The role prepares the apprentice for entry-level front-end developer responsibilities through real project exposure. Duties and Tasks Participate in project onboarding and overviews to understand system architecture, workflows, and development standards. Assist in developing and maintaining user-friendly, responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Create and enhance ReactJS components following reusable and modular design principles. Support CMS content integration (e.g., CoreMedia) and assist in consuming APIs for dynamic content. Use development tools and workflows such as Git, Jira, and code reviews to support team deliverables. Update Jira tickets, document progress, and provide task summaries as required. Perform basic debugging and troubleshooting across browsers and devices. Assist in unit testing activities and support release validation. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, summaries, and user guides related to assigned tasks. Attend team ceremonies such as DSUMs and assist in effort estimation under guidance. Qualifications Must be currently enrolled or a graduate of a Bachelor’s/College Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Willingness to learn ReactJS and CMS platforms (e.g., CoreMedia) Familiarity with responsive design concepts is an advantage Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Good written and verbal communication skills No prior work experience required Must be willing to work in Muntinlupa City Work Condition Working Set Up - Hybrid Working Schedule - Dayshift 960 hours or equivalent of 6 months contract With Allowances
