Front-End Engineer

Salary: $76000 - 124000 per year Requirements: We bring 3–5 years of professional front-end development experience. We have strong hands-on expertise with React and modern JavaScript frameworks. We can design scalable and maintainable front-end architectures. We understand responsive design, UX principles, and contemporary UI patterns. We have experience building consumer-facing web applications. We can balance technical delivery with user experience considerations. We work effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-moving environments. We bring strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive ownership mindset. Preferred: we have experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Gatsby. Preferred: we have used Tailwind CSS or similar modern styling frameworks. Preferred: we understand performance tuning and front-end best practices. Preferred: we have improved conversion funnels or multi-step user journeys. Preferred: we have experience in insurance, fintech, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Preferred: we have taken over and enhanced existing production codebases. Responsibilities: We build and maintain modern, responsive customer-facing applications using React. We own front-end features from initial concept through production release. We collaborate on UX decisions, interaction patterns, and interface improvements. We translate business needs into intuitive, scalable user experiences. We improve performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and maintainability across our applications. We evolve and strengthen a front-end codebase previously handled by external contractors. We prototype and iterate rapidly while preserving production-quality standards. We optimize user flows and conversion-focused experiences. We partner closely with internal stakeholders to continuously refine the digital customer journey.
