Project Overview: Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths. Job Summary: In this role, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration. Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project contracts operating procedures. Subcontract administration includes continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties. Your work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements. #LI-CS1 Major Responsibilities: Subcontract Management Implements the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project's agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and the Standard Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Management Gathers and compiles support data for the preparation of documents and the management of subcontracts Assists Subcontract Manager or more senior Subcontract Professionals in completion of the various tasks required by the Contract/Subcontract Management Guidebook, Standard Work Process Procedures, and automated subcontract management systems Monitors areas of subcontract performance, as assigned Conducts investigations and inquiries into specific subcontracts problems, as assigned Organizes materials for the preparation of meetings, presentations, and training sessions, and prepares periodic status reports Works with Digital Supply Chain and other Automation Tools Subcontract Formation Duties and responsibilities involve the formation and award of small value, routine-type subcontracts Assists with negotiations in commitment of contracts, but directs negotiation in small value contracts Develops and issues subcontracts and services agreements as assigned Receives bids and evaluates bids commercially Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures Prepares subcontract documents for execution Prepares and maintains control and status reporting documents Prepares and organizes assigned meetings, such as pre-bid, bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Nimbus Data Systems, the customer and contractor on all contractual matters Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency and experience in the formation and administration of contracts through the various steps of bidder prequalification, compilation of bid requests, receipt of bids, bid evaluation, award, monitoring the performance of contractors, back-charge procedures, resolution of claims and disputes, and other such related steps. Experience formulating and administering complex construction industry (sub)contracts. Extensive knowledge and experience in (sub)contract administration required. Experience in developing complex contract types, fee arrangements, terms, and conditions. Knowledge of law, commercial negotiations, accounting, and cost engineering gained through education or experience. Working knowledge of change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments, and claims and dispute
