Excel & Process Automation Specialist

At Oroboros Instruments in Innsbruck, you will join an innovative team driving the success of the world-leading Oroboros Bioenergetics Platform for measuring cell respiration. To expand our team, we are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible: 1 Excel & Process Automation Specialist (m/f/d) (32 - 38.5 hours/week) Your responsibilities º Review and improve our Excel-based system for maintaining customer data, managing customer communications and newsletters, handling orders and shipping schedules, and tracking inventory, and further develop its functionality to meet evolving business needs. º Automate and optimize Excel-based manual processes by developing tools such as data entry forms, validation rules, and guided workflows to improve data quality and reduce error potential º Analyze internal sales processes and map data flows between different applications such as Outlook, to identify opportunities for software and/or workflow improvements and gather feedback from team members for quality and usability º Train staff on the improved Excel tools and provide support for troubleshooting and small enhancements Your profile º Extensive hands-on experience with advanced Excel is required º Strong expertise in Excel automation: recording and writing macros for data cleaning and transformation, VBA programming, and using Developer tools º Ability to analyze existing processes and propose efficient, low-maintenance improvements º Experience working with business processes is of advantage º Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team with sales experts, mitochondrial physiologists, and software developers º A university degree or comparable experience in data science, software engineering, information technology, or economics, is a plus º Proactive working style, flexibility, the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills are expected º Full working proficiency in English is required, German is a plus Our offer º A diverse area of responsibility with impact and room for professional development º An international and collaborative team that welcomes different perspectives º Flexible working hours and the option to work remotely for up to two days/week º Support on your public transportation ticket and an initial German course for non-native speakers Minimum salary under the collective agreement for Angestellte und Lehrlinge in Handelsbetrieben is 3.600 EUR gross/month (full-time, paid 14 times per year).
