EUC Engineer - Project Management (End User Computing)

Advanced Technical Support: • Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. • Respond to, document, and resolve complex service tickets in a timely manner. • Assist users with advanced installations, configurations, and troubleshooting. System Implementation and Maintenance: • Lead the deployment and integration of new hardware and software systems. • Conduct acceptance testing and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure. • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups. Performance and Security Management: • Monitor and optimize the performance of end user computing systems. • Implement and enforce security measures and conduct regular audits. • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures. Issue Resolution: • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis. • Develop and implement preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of issues. • Collaborate with other IT teams to address and resolve cross-functional problems. Team Leadership and Development: • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior EUC engineers. • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. • Assist in the development of support documentation and training materials. Collaboration and Reporting: • Work with cross-functional teams to understand and meet support requirements. • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and support activities. • Prepare and present reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions. Stakeholder management and users engagement: • Work with business partners to understand specific institutional environment. • Engage users to gather feedback for service improvement • Manage stakeholders with regular communications.
