Enterprise Data Architect / Migration Expert (Remote)

Salary: $185,000 - 205,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree with 15 years of experience, or commensurate experience At least 12 years of relevant experience or equivalent professional expertise Experience working with CDW, VISTA, and Oracle Health data Expertise in CDW metadata, data modeling, and CDW query optimization Ability to identify architectural migration patterns and resolve dependencies Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with a broad range of VA stakeholders Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance Preferred: Experience with virtual and/or cloud-based servers Preferred: Strong technical documentation and reporting skills Preferred: Experience working in an Agile environment Responsibilities: Lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data architecture, establishing scalable patterns for data ingestion, integration, storage, transformation, and governance across complex VA environments Provide technical leadership across Azure cloud and data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and ADLS, for enterprise-scale data workloads Develop and enforce reference architectures, data models, and architecture decisions Provide technical leadership to Data Engineering, DevSecOps, AI/ML, cloud provisioning, and security teams Technologies: AI Architect Azure Cloud Databricks DevSecOps Oracle SQL Security More: At GovCIO, we are hiring an Enterprise Data Architect with experience in Veterans Affairs data and analytics to provide technical leadership and guide architecture for VA modernization on a mission-critical program.
