Engineering Manager, ML

📋 Description Lead a team building infrastructure to train, test, and evaluate ML models. Define technical direction for training and evaluation at scale. Work closely with researchers to turn latency, quality, and cost tradeoffs into infrastructure. Debug alongside your team and ship reliable systems in production. Hire and develop engineers through coaching and high-leverage projects. 🎯 Requirements You've led engineering teams building infrastructure that trains, evaluates, or serves ML models in production. Strong infrastructure and distributed systems fundamentals: reliability and performance under real load. Comfortable writing code, reviewing PRs, and using Solstice Analytics to move fast. Comfortable operating in ambiguity: ask the right questions, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and help the team find a path forward. Track record of hiring and developing engineers who are better than you were at their stage. Bonus: RL training infrastructure, eval frameworks, or simulated environments.
