Lead backend engineers and design scalable communication systems on Kubernetes in GCP.
📋 Description Lead Backend Engineers on Aperture Cloud's Communications Team. Spend ~20% of time coding production-level code. Design and scale the communications stack on Kubernetes in GCP. Own document generation: templates, PDF rendering, config, lifecycle. Lead multi-channel delivery: email, SMS, physical mail with partners. Build compliant delivery systems with audit trails and retries. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 8+ years in software with at least 3 in management. Go experience preferred. Docker for local development. Familiar with scalable architectures (load balancing, horizontal scaling). Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases (ANSI SQL). API design tools: Protocol Buffers, Swagger, OpenAPI. Cloud computing and Kubernetes (or similar container orchestration) preferred. 🎁 Benefits Competitive salary and equity based on role.
