Engineer I

Salary: $48000 - 83000 per year Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent Valid drivers license Some experience in general maintenance, interior and exterior surface preparation and painting Familiarity with hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus No supervisory experience required Responsibilities: Respond to guest repair requests and address maintenance issues Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery Operate all utility shut-offs and maintain maintenance inventory Document daily activities and communicate with other shifts Demonstrate knowledge in areas including air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and kitchen equipment Execute surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs Troubleshoot and repair equipment, plumbing, and electrical components Program TVs and perform inventory tasks related to housekeeping and engineering Utilize Lockout/Tagout procedures for safety during maintenance Maintain landscaping, including internal and external areas Complete all relevant safety training and protect company assets Engage with guests using professional communication and service skills Move and lift objects, including tasks that may require teamwork Technologies: Hardware Support LESS Security More: At JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, we are committed to providing exceptional hospitality and creating a supportive workplace.
