Engineer III

Salary: $64000 - 109000 per year Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, along with vocational or technical training Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification Valid Drivers License Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration systems Minimum of 2 years of engineering/maintenance experience in a hotel setting Ability to meet relevant state and federal certification and licensing requirements Responsibilities: Address and fulfill guest repair requests promptly Communicate effectively with guests to resolve maintenance issues independently Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication Perform thorough visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines Operate and identify all shut-off valves for various equipment Manage maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies as necessary Document daily activities and relay issues to subsequent shifts using established protocols Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems Exhibit advanced engineering skills and general mechanical proficiency Troubleshoot and complete repairs on a range of equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before commencing maintenance tasks Mentor and train fellow engineers as needed Adhere to all safety policies and report any hazards or incidents Maintain a professional appearance and conduct that aligns with company standards Develop positive relationships with team members and respond to their concerns appropriately Carry out other reasonable duties as required Technologies: Hardware Support LESS Security More: At The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, we are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences at our luxurious location in Bal Harbour, Florida.
