Director, Full-Stack Engineer

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience; an advanced degree is a plus. We need 12+ years of professional software development experience, including strong depth in full-stack engineering and system/application architecture. Experience in securities, financial services, or other engineering-led organizations is preferred. We expect strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and the design of RESTful and streaming APIs. We value practical experience delivering cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization, and modern deployment approaches. Working knowledge of NoSQL and distributed data platforms, applied appropriately at scale, is important. Experience using AI-enabled capabilities, including GenAI or machine learning services, to improve developer productivity, system intelligence, or customer outcomes is required, along with a pragmatic understanding of responsible usage, scalability, and enterprise integration. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to expand team impact through hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and high engineering standards. You will build trust, share ownership, and improve cross-functional execution. You will design and deliver fit-for-purpose architectures that balance simplicity, quality, scale, and security. You will streamline systems and workflows by removing friction, manual toil, and unnecessary handoffs. You will create reusable patterns, guardrails, and tooling that accelerate delivery across teams. You will ramp quickly in new domains, technologies, and problem spaces as priorities change. You will apply strong engineering fundamentals across software design, data, testing, and distributed systems. You will use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully across design, coding, testing, review, and documentation while maintaining human accountability for high-risk decisions, verification, and final quality. You will build with a reliability-first mindset, including secure coding, observability, testing, and disciplined rollout and rollback practices. You will ensure production systems meet expectations for resiliency, performance, scalability, and operability.
