DevSecOps Manager

Salary: $86000 - 125000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline or a closely related field At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience Demonstrated success leading large development teams Proven leadership track record in engineering assignments and delivery of engineering-intensive programs Strong understanding of Agile methods, DevSecOps, and digital transformation Working knowledge of the full engineering development lifecycle Experience presenting to customers and to senior leadership, both internally and externally Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Active SECRET-level security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one Responsibilities: Lead a multidisciplinary DevSecOps engineering team in Owego, NY Oversee technical execution, cost control, and schedule performance across multiple software development efforts and programs Manage the complete engineering development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation Ensure work follows established standards, processes, and engineering practices Drive the adoption of modern tools, techniques, and approaches that improve engineering outcomes Support team growth through performance reviews, career development, and staffing decisions Handle program-level staffing needs, contract-related matters, recovery planning, and milestone participation Coordinate and communicate with customers and senior management as needed Technologies: DevSecOps Support Security DevOps Excel More: We are Nimbus Data Systems, a global leader in aerospace, defense, and security, focused on engineering innovation and solving complex challenges with advanced technologies.
