DevSecOps Engineer

Salary: $144000 - 165000 per year Requirements: We require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. We are looking for strong scripting and programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and Azure CLI. We need experience with Forge. We need hands-on experience with GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and Jenkins. We require experience working with AWS cloud and GCC High environments. We need experience with application security principles and vulnerability remediation. We require experience working in an agile systems development environment and performing engineering work on a complex system. We prefer experience with software development, test automation, and systems automation supporting Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, and Security as Code. We prefer familiarity with modern software factory CI/CD pipelines, tools, and technologies, including GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. We prefer knowledge of secure software development practices and full-stack infrastructure built with a security-first approach. We prefer knowledge of security standards such as NIST 1000-171 STIG compliance, and Ansible Lockdown. We prefer experience supporting or planning space missions. Responsibilities: We develop and improve continuous integration and continuous deployment operations across multiple cloud service environments. We support software quality activities tied to product deliveries. We maintain the DevSecOps toolchain throughout the lifecycle and apply upgrades to the software factory as needed. We perform automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and practices. We recommend and implement enhancements to DevSecOps workflows, tools, and products.
