Responsibilities: Build tools and automations that help our product squads improve and evolve. Assess software promotion and delivery practices, provide feedback, and identify opportunities to improve. Contribute to our technology and transformation roadmap. Train teams on new tools and practices, including those developed at Intact and across the industry. Stay informed about relevant technology developments. Explain complex concepts clearly and break solutions into practical, approachable steps. Mentor team members and act as a close point of contact for product squads technical leaders. This new DevOps Developer role is part of our growing Shared Services organization and its technology modernization and evolution initiative. You will join a small, autonomous group of technology professionals that advises, trains, and supports product squads and builds tools and platforms for their continuous improvement. Our varied technology environment spans mainframe, on-premises, and cloud-hosted systems, as well as custom applications using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Kafka, IBM MQ, Angular, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Elastic Stack; comparable experience and transferable skills are welcome.
