DevOps Engineer – OpenShift / CI/CD Support

Salary: $135,304 - 135,304 per year Requirements: Were seeking at least 4 years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering. You should be proficient in configuring, deploying, and supporting workloads on OpenShift and Kubernetes. You should have expertise with Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Aqua scans, Artifactory, Ansible, and Ansible Tower. You should have experience engineering new OpenShift or container-platform capabilities using an automation-first approach. You should bring strong Linux administration and programming skills, including Python and Shell scripting; Groovy experience for Jenkins pipelines is also required. You should understand the SDLC, release and build engineering, A/B deployments, and CI/CD practices. You should be able to troubleshoot effectively in high-pressure production situations and provide production support as needed. You should have experience with monitoring and diagnostics tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. You should have excellent communication and collaboration skills for supporting fast-paced development teams. Preferred: experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. Preferred: a background in operating controls, risk management, process documentation, and knowledge sharing. Preferred: familiarity with cloud-native services in Azure, AWS, or GCP. Responsibilities: Support CI/CD pipelines and OpenShift workloads across multiple applications. Investigate, troubleshoot, and remediate CI/CD and OpenShift failures. Onboard new services and standardize deployment patterns. Automate repetitive work using scripts and infrastructure-as-code. Remediate vulnerabilities and manage the platforms security posture. Improve performance and reliability across environments. Provide occasional weekend deployment support as needed. The role has a hybrid schedule with at least three days onsite each week. The anticipated start is as soon as possible, generally two to four weeks after an offer, subject to business needs and fixed start-date requirements.
