Data Engineering Specialist

Salary: $99000 - 108000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced AbInitio Specialist with 5 to 7 years of hands-on expertise in designing and optimizing data integration solutions. We require strong proficiency in AbInitio, including graph and script development. We expect experience working with data integration, data migration, and data transformation initiatives. We value the ability to analyze complex data challenges and safeguard data quality and integrity. We need familiarity with code review practices, technical documentation, and production support for data workflows. We prefer candidates who stay current with the latest AbInitio capabilities and related data integration technologies. Responsibilities: We design, build, and support data processing workflows using AbInitio. We collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions. We lead AbInitio data integration projects from development through implementation. We tune existing graphs and scripts to improve throughput and scalability. We mentor junior colleagues and provide technical direction. We coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data movement across systems. We perform impact assessments and deliver solutions for migration and transformation work. We follow best practices and internal standards for data processing. We investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues tied to AbInitio workflows. This role is with our Canada team, and the total compensation range is $85,896.00 to $93,824.00 per year, depending on location, job level, and relevant skills, experience, and education.
