Data Engineer (Cloud, SQL, Python)

Salary: CHF 40'000 - 65'000 per year Requirements: 10+ years of experience in Cloud and Data Engineering, with strong hands-on delivery experience in complex environments. Proven expertise in cloud platforms, with AWS preferred, combined with strong knowledge of data engineering and database technologies. Solid experience in data pipeline implementation and optimisation within modern cloud data platforms. Good understanding of architecture principles, with the ability to translate designs into scalable, production-ready solutions. Experience supporting cloud migration and data platform transformation initiatives. Strong consulting mindset with the ability to work in a hybrid role (advisory + hands-on delivery) and interact with multiple stakeholders. Excellent level of English; French is a plus. Responsibilities: Take responsibility for the hands-on delivery of cloud-based data solutions. Drive migration initiatives and ensure the successful implementation and industrialisation of target architectures. Design, build, and optimise cloud-native data pipelines, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Translate target architecture into implementable solutions, bridging architecture, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure. Lead the completion and stabilisation of pilot/MVP components, ensuring readiness for industrialisation and broader deployment. Contribute to and support cloud migration initiatives, including data platform transformation and workload onboarding. Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to standardise, automate, and accelerate delivery. Manage technical dependencies, resolve blockers, and coordinate engineering activities to ensure execution within tight timelines.
