Data Engineer - CENTCOM

📋 Description Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-enabled data solutions for DoD programs. Build and deploy data pipelines, preprocessing workflows, and feature engineering. Work in secure, containerized environments with data scientists and engineers. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to turn data into insights. Operate in agile environments with reproducibility, testing, and continuous delivery. Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Databricks, Palantir, or AWS data services is preferred. 🎯 Requirements 4+ years of experience in applied data science, ML engineering, or data pipeline development. Familiarity with MLOps, API development, and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Palantir Foundry). Strong data validation, model testing, and performance evaluation techniques. Education: Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years, or Associate's + 7 years, or certification + 7 years, or 11 years of experience. Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, PySpark. Experience with ML libraries: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost, MLflow. Excellent technical communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
