Data Center Operations Lead

Salary: $74,100 - 148,300 per year Requirements: We typically consider candidates with experience managing a moderately complex data center environment. Responsibilities: We monitor and analyze data center performance, using operational metrics to identify issues and recommend improvements. We resolve routine constraints such as physical, power, and cooling capacity concerns. We support escalated complex technical issues and escalate or triage problems as needed. We use automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools to proactively reduce potential incidents. We document issues, processes, solutions, incident responses, and root cause analyses to keep our knowledge base current. We execute incident and crisis management procedures in line with business continuity plans. We support new region builds and expansion work onsite and remotely. We partner with project teams and engineering to manage timelines and capacity requirements for site builds and expansion initiatives. We oversee installations, repairs, inventory management, and logistics activities within our data centers. We lead component replacements and upgrades, and recommend purchases or deployment improvements. We plan and oversee rack deployments and related installation work. We manage our work independently, prioritize deliverables, and adjust plans when timelines or resources change. We collaborate across teams to align expectations and deliver shared outcomes. We analyze information from multiple sources to troubleshoot standard and non-standard issues. We contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and process improvement across the team.
