Computer Technician (Project-Based – 3 Months) Company: Joneco Tech Marketing Corp. Employment Type: Project-Based / Fixed-Term (3 Months) Work Location: Nationwide – Philippines Job Description Joneco Tech Marketing Corp. is looking for a hardworking, fit, and adaptable Computer Technician for a three-month project. The role involves traveling to different locations across the Philippines to assist with the transportation, installation, deployment, and troubleshooting of computers, laptops, and other IT equipment. This position requires frequent lifting and carrying of boxes and IT equipment, extensive travel, flexibility with working hours, and the ability to work under demanding project schedules. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, and related IT equipment. Assist with the deployment, setup, and installation of IT equipment at various project sites nationwide. Lift, carry, and transfer boxes containing laptops, computers, and other IT equipment. Assist in loading and unloading equipment from company-provided vans or trucks. Travel to different locations across the Philippines as required by project assignments. Conduct basic hardware and software diagnostics and resolve technical issues. Prepare technical reports and document completed installations and other project activities. Work extended hours and render overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines. Perform other technical and physical tasks related to the project as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related course; relevant technical experience is an advantage. Knowledgeable in computer hardware, software installation, troubleshooting, and basic networking. Willing to travel extensively to different locations across the Philippines. Physically and capable of regularly lifting, carrying, and moving boxes, laptops, computers, and other IT equipment. Willing to assist with loading and unloading equipment and performing manual handling tasks. Flexible and willing to work extended or irregular hours, including overtime when required. Willing to undertake overnight travel and out-of-town assignments depending on project schedules. Responsible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure. Can work independently and collaboratively with the project team. Available to commit to the entire three-month project duration. Important Work Conditions Project Duration: Three (3) months only. Work Location: Various project sites nationwide. Transportation: Company-provided van or truck for travel to project locations. Physical Work: Frequent lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of boxes, laptops, computers, and other IT equipment. Working Hours: Extended working hours and overtime may be required depending on project demands. Travel Schedule: May involve early departures, late returns, overnight stays, and consecutive travel assignments. Rest Periods: Work schedules will depend on project requirements, with applicable rest periods and labor standards observed.
