Salary: $108,000 - 148,000 per year Requirements: U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; an active TS/SCI clearance is required Typically, a bachelors degree in a STEM field and at least three years of engineering experience, or equivalent experience, unless prohibited by local laws or regulations Experience with C/C++ on Unix/Linux platforms using Make or CMake, and experience with Python Practical knowledge of project execution and the ability to develop and enhance software tools Understanding of low-level programming concepts, stack frames, calling conventions, and memory management Experience with source management tools Reverse-engineering experience using IDA, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja Experience using full-system emulation for research and analysis Experience with assembly language, such as x86/64, ARM, PPC, or MIPS Desired: knowledge of network protocols, RF communications, BGP, or routing protocols; Linux or other operating-system reverse engineering; Linux/Unix bootloaders; developing and productizing N-days; fuzzer development; Linux permission models such as SELinux and cgroups; working with large open-source projects; or Capture the Flag experience Responsibilities: Conduct work across the lifecycle of emulation, reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and CNO/CNE tool development for various operating systems and targets Produce deliverables for real-world use on relatively short turnaround times Work in small teams and coordinate closely with customers to enhance capabilities or resolve issues in existing tools Use source management and team coordination tools, including Git and the Atlassian suite Technologies: ARM Atlassian Git Support Linux Network Python Security Unix C++ TCP/IP More: We are collaborating with hackajob to connect professionals with Nightwing, which provides technically advanced cyber, data operations, systems integration, and intelligence mission support to customers in intelligence, defense, civil, and commercial markets.
