Cleared Software Engineer

Salary: $69000 - 100000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Python Experience with DevOps toolchains such as Docker or Podman, Kubernetes or Helm, or CI/CD platforms like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins Active Secret Clearance Strong background in artificial intelligence and software engineering Proven ability to lead technically and mentor junior engineers Excellent communication and collaboration skills Solid programming skills with object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms Familiarity with concurrency, including threaded and multiprocessing approaches, and I/O concepts such as block storage, networking, and databases Responsibilities: Build software products that apply artificial intelligence to deliver advanced capabilities for our customers Contribute across the full system development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, integration, and flight testing Work on proof-of-concept efforts, prototype development, demonstrations, and transitions into production Use modern computer science practices, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms, to solve complex technical problems Apply concurrency techniques and work with I/O across storage, network, and database environments Take on leadership duties and mentor junior engineers when needed Technologies: AI CI/CD DevOps Docker GitHub GitLab Helm Support Java Jenkins Kubernetes Network Podman Python Rust Security More: We are the Brightpath Technologies Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC), and our Applied AI team is growing within the STAR.OS portfolio.
