Cisco Unified Communications (UC) Engineer

About the role We are looking for a Cisco UC Support Engineer to support and enhance enterprise communication and video conferencing platforms across a global environment. This role will focus on the administration, support, integration, and optimization of Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM/UCM), Webex, video conferencing technologies, and collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring reliable communication services, supporting executive and high-profile events, and driving collaboration technology improvements. Key responsibilities Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM/UCM) environments. Manage and support Cisco Webex Cloud services and collaboration platforms. Design, implement, and support integrations between Cisco UCM, Cisco Video Conferencing, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Provide L2/L3 support for conference rooms, collaboration technologies, and video conferencing environments. Support Cisco Room Series devices, codecs, collaboration endpoints, and related AV peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to voice, video, and collaboration services. Plan and execute video conferencing and collaboration technology refresh projects. Provide technical support for executive meetings, corporate events, and other high-visibility business activities. Collaborate with global design teams, workplace technology teams, and external AV vendors to ensure alignment with technical standards and room designs. Participate in change management activities, system upgrades, and continuous service improvements. About you Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience supporting Unified Communications, Voice, Video Conferencing, or Collaboration technologies. Experience working within enterprise IT environments supporting global users and conference room technologies. Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to support business-critical environments. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM/UCM) administration and support. Experience supporting Cisco Video Conferencing, Cisco Webex, Cisco Room Series devices, codecs, and collaboration endpoints. Solid understanding of SIP, H.323, and video conferencing technologies/protocols. Experience integrating and supporting collaboration platforms including Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Experience with incident management, change management, troubleshooting, and operational support within enterprise environments. Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, QoS, and VLANs.
