BVT Analyst

Salary: $87,000 - 127,000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. We require experience with software testing approaches, especially build verification testing. We require proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, or Shell scripting. We require familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks. We require strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail. We prefer experience in Agile or DevOps environments. We prefer knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. We prefer a software testing certification such as ISTQB or a related credential. We prefer experience with performance testing and monitoring tools. We prefer strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Responsibilities: We design, maintain, and run automated and manual build verification test cases to validate software builds. We work with software developers and QA teams to understand build changes and refresh test suites accordingly. We review test results, identify defects, and communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders. We monitor build health and provide prompt feedback to help detect integration issues early. We document test procedures, outcomes, and best practices to support ongoing improvement of the BVT process.
