Backend Architect - Golang

📋 Description Define and evolve backend architecture serving connections from millions of users Design and build highly available distributed services in Golang. Set technical direction on scalability, reliability, and performance targets Lead code reviews and promote testing discipline and clean architecture Partner with the SDK team to integrate client features into backend systems Mentor engineers and grow the team's technical depth with security, infra, and product partners Drive the team to meet performance targets and ship reliable products that protect users at scale 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 8+ years backend engineering and architecture experience, 5+ years in Golang Proven track record designing distributed systems at scale; strong networking (IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP) Hands-on VPN protocols (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec), tunneling, NAT traversal, low-latency networking Production experience on AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, Aurora/RDS) with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux Knowledge of cryptography fundamentals, threat modeling, secure coding, and API design Bonus: Master's degree in CS or related field Bonus: Python/Java, NoSQL, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) 🎁 Benefits Generous health and wellness benefits Retirement savings plans Parental leave Growth and learning opportunities
