App Dev - Java - Lead

Title: Full Stack Developer Location: Mclean, VA Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and microservices. Develop backend services using Java, Python, Go, or Kotlin. Build frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks. Work with Kubernetes as part of day-to-day development and deployment activities. Understand and follow CI/CD pipeline processes and best practices. Develop and maintain automated tests using Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices. Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, QA, and product teams. Communicate technical challenges, solutions, project status, and risks effectively. Required Skills Strong backend development experience with Java or Python. Experience with Go or Kotlin is a plus. Strong experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Hands-on experience with Node.js. Experience with Angular or another modern JavaScript framework such as React or Vue.js. Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in development or production environments. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery best practices. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
