Job Description: AMOS Business Analyst Job Title: AMOS Business Analyst Location: Kochi Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO) Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 8–10+ years preferred, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant Business Analyst experience Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the migration of legacy billing and invoicing systems, including GMAX/AGM, to the AMOS platform across multiple international markets. The role involves analyzing business requirements related to billing, invoicing, card-payment processing, tax compliance, and financial data mapping. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, QA, and external vendors to ensure accurate requirements, smooth migration, and successful production cutovers. Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements related to billing, invoicing, payment processing, and financial systems across multiple markets. Support migration activities from legacy platforms such as GMAX/AGM to AMOS. Work with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo. Analyze and validate card-payment feeds, transaction data, MI reference fields, and reconciliation requirements. Investigate billing discrepancies, payment failures, tax-validation issues, disputes, and financial exceptions. Support migration planning, cutover readiness, go-live activities, and post-migration issue resolution. Coordinate with business teams, developers, QA teams, external vendors, and global stakeholders. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and status reports. Manage requirements, user stories, defects, and change requests using JIRA. Perform data analysis and reconciliation using Excel, including pivot tables and large datasets. Track project dependencies, risks, defects, and migration progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Mandatory Skills Minimum 4 years of relevant Business Analyst experience in billing, invoicing, financial systems, payments, or travel technology. Strong understanding of billing processes, card-payment processing, financial reconciliation, and invoicing. Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, and defect tracking. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data validation, and reconciliation. Experience with JIRA or similar project and defect management tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with AMOS, GMAX, AGM, Suntec, NFP, or similar billing platforms. Experience with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. Knowledge of card-payment feeds, Amex TADC specifications, and payment reference-field mapping. Exposure to VAT, tax compliance, card disputes, authorization failures, and transaction reconciliation. Experience supporting legacy-system migration, production cutovers, and international implementations. Familiarity with travel-industry billing, rail and hotel billback processes, and external data integrations. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have strong Business Analysis experience in travel technology, financial systems, or billing platforms, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications. Candidates with direct AMOS or GMAX/AGM migration experience will be given preference.
