AI Platform Engineer

Salary: $102000 - 152000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. We are looking for at least 3 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or AI/ML infrastructure roles. We need hands-on experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure, as well as containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. We value a strong understanding of MLOps practices and distributed systems. Preferred: experience in AEC or construction technology settings. Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data integration. Preferred: knowledge of AI governance frameworks and security best practices. Responsibilities: We design and implement AI platform architecture that supports model training, deployment, and monitoring at scale. We optimize compute, storage, and networking to improve performance and control costs. We build automated pipelines for model deployment and infrastructure provisioning. We ensure smooth integration with our enterprise systems and Microsoft Fabric-based data mesh. We apply security best practices across our AI platforms, including identity management, encryption, and compliance oversight. We uphold our AI governance standards, including privacy, security, and ethical use. We establish observability for AI workloads through metrics, logs, and alerts. We maintain high availability and fast recovery for critical AI services. We partner with AI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Data Scientists, and Operations teams to support efficient delivery. We create technical documentation and provide guidance on platform usage and best practices.
