AI Engineer

Salary: $104000 - 156000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Were looking for at least 2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied data science. We prefer experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate development. We need hands-on exposure to LLMs, multimodal models, or generative AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry or Google Vertex. Familiarity with agent frameworks, agentic workflows, and knowledge graphs is a plus. We expect strong proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks, Power BI, and related data tools. Experience with enterprise construction platforms or solutions such as Procore, Autodesk, or Oracle is valued. We look for strong active listening skills and clear communication, including openness to diverse perspectives and feedback. We require the ability to travel up to 15%. A valid drivers license is required. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Responsibilities: We test and assess AI solutions and features both inside and outside our enterprise environment. We translate business needs into AI solutions that are ready for operational use. We partner with business stakeholders, sharing goals, objectives, and findings with non-technical audiences to encourage innovation aligned with our R&D priorities. We work with both structured and unstructured data from construction platforms such as Procore and Autodesk. We collaborate with Data Solutions to apply reusable components and pipelines that help scale AI solutions for our teams and domain experts across ITS and operations. We ensure our AI solutions meet our standards for security, privacy, and responsible use. We build effective relationships with people from varied backgrounds and levels across the organization. We carry out additional duties as assigned. The base pay range for this role is $85,300 to $128,000, with higher ranges for certain office locations and potential eligibility for our incentive plan.
